DAILY ITINERARY 

Day 1: VILNIUS

Arrival to Vilnius. Transfer to hotel. Accommodation.
Vilnius City Tour including the most interesting architectural and historic monuments of the 16 th.-19 th. centuries, such as majestic Classical Vilnius Cathedral with the history dating back to the 14 th. century, a graceful 16 th c. St. Anne's Church - a gem of the Lithuanian Gothic, the Vilnius University founded in 1579, the Dawn Gate with a holy icon of Virgin Mary etc.
During the walking tour we recommend you workshop-galleries that work with local fabrics, such as linen, amber or glass. Visit the Amber gallery, Linen gallery, Stainedglass workshop, Enamel gallery. You can choose the ones you like or all of them.
Dinner and overnight.


Day 2: VILNIUS - TRAKAI - PAZAISLIS - KAUNAS

A morning visit to Ss. Peter and Paul's Church, a gem of the 17 th. century Lithuanian Baroque.
Afternoon tour to Trakai, 28 km from Vilnius, the ancient Lithuanian capital, famous for its 15th c. Gothic Castle amidst the lake, now housing a History Museum.
further drive to Kaunas. Enroute visiting Pazaislis Monastery erected in the middle of the 17 th c. by Camalduli monks on the banks of the man-made Kaunas Sea where you can admire a famous miraculous image of Virgin Mary.

rriving to Kaunas late in the evening. Accommodation and overnight.


Day 3: KAUNAS - PALANGA - KLAIPEDA

Morning tour of Kaunas, the provisional (1919-1940) capital of Lithuania, including the most interesting sights of the Old Town: a majestic Cathedral, the graceful Town Hall, Liberty Avenue, etc. Optional tour to the Art Gallery of Chiurlionis, the outstanding Lithuanian artist and composerto .
A further drive to Palanga, the most popular Lithuanian sea resort famous for its long beaches of white sand.
Arriving to Klaipeda for overnight. Accommodation and dinner.


Day 4: KLAIPEDA - THE CURONIAN SPIT - KLAIPEDA

Walking tour of the Old Town of Klaipeda including the statue of "Annie of Tharau" in the Theatre Square, the heart of the city.
A
 tour to the Curonian Spit, a unique narrow sandy stretch between the waters of the Curonian Lagoon and the Baltic Sea, one of Lithuanian UNESCO World Heritage sites. A stop to visit the Hill of Whiches in Juodkrante and another stop in Nida, the Lithuanian Sakhara with majestic 50-60 m high sand dunes, the old cemetery and Thomas Mann Museum.

eturn to Klaipeda. Dinner and overnight. 


Day 5: KLAIPEDA - THE HILL OF CROSSES - RUNDALE - JURMALA - RIGA
Morning departure to Riga with an en route stop to see the famous piligrimage site - the Hill of Crosses. A further drive to 18th c. Rundale palace built by famous architect Rastrelli. The palace is also known as Versailles of Latvia. After visiting Rundale, a further drive to Jurmala with its 26km long beach of white sand. The charming wooden houses built in the beginning of the last century and modern resort buildings make an interesting combination and is worth seeing.
Arriving to Riga. Accommodation and dinner. Overnight.

Day 6: RIGA

Morning Riga City Tour encompasses the most significant sights of the Old Town: the biggest church complex in the Baltics - the Dome Cathedral and St.Peter's Church with its 123,5m tower, Jacob's Church, the big and the small Guild, the "Three Brothers", the House of the Blackheads. A walk through Albert street, a famous area of Art Nouveau architecture where almost every house was designed by architect Mikhail Eisenstein. Optional visits: the tower St. Peters's Church (to see Riga from 72m height), Organ concert in Dome Cathedral, Balsam degustation at Balck Magic Bar.

Day 7: RIGA - SIGULDA - PARNU - TALLINN
Departure from Riga to Tallinn via Sigulda, the Latvian Switzerland. Experience a genuine atmosphere of the Middle Ages listening to romantic legends and admiring the ruins of the 13th c. Knights' or Turaida Castle, the mysterious sandstone grottoes on the Gauja riverbank. A second stop in Parnu, a popular Estonian sea resort and a summer capital.
Arriving to Tallinn late in the evening. Accommodation and dineer. Overnight.

Day 8: TALLINN

Morning walking tour of the Old Tallinn (UNESCO), the medieval Hanseatic town, boasting the Dominican St.Catherin's Monastery, the 600-year-old Gothic Town Hall, the 159 m high Oleviste Church, a powerful Russian Orthodox St. Aleksander Nevsky Cathedral. The Toompea Hill offers breathtaking views over the Old Town and the Baltic Sea. A visit to St. Catherine's passage with active workshops.
After city tour a drive to Kadriorg Palace and park. A stop to see Tallinn Song Festival Grounds where every 5 years a traditional Estonian song festival takes place. A further drive to Pirita to visit yachting centre, that was built for 1980 Olympics, and ruins of an old monastery St. Bridget's Convent.
Free time. Dinner and overnight.


Day 9: TALLINN - LAHEMAA NATIONAL PARK - TALLINN

A full day tour to Lahemaa National Park, ~70km from Tallinn. The park is famous for its various and breathtaking landscapes, unspoilt nature. Lahemaa means "the land of bays". A visit to Palmse Manor and Open-Air Museum, one of the most famous in Estonia. An hour walk down the Viru Bog Nature Trail.

eturn to Tallinn for overnight.


Day 10

Transfer to the airport. Flight home.
